Is your web site secure?
Shopping with Handpiece-Turbines.com and using your credit card is guaranteed to be safe and secure. We take extensive steps to process thousands of internet transactions securely and safely. Our secure server software (SSL) is the industry standard for securing credit card transactions over the internet. This software encrypts all your personal information into an unrecognizable code that is securely transmitted from you to us. When this encrypted information reaches our secure server, we translate it back to its original form and store it safely offline and inaccessible through the Internet.
To continue our commitment to your security, every credit card processed is run through an address verification process to verify that the card is registered to the billing address on the order. We are dedicated to providing you with a secure, worry-free shopping experience.

Payment Options
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover or Paypal as forms of payment.
All payments are processed through PayPal and Stripe. You can choose to pay using your Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express credit cards or you can choose to use your PayPal account balance to make a payment if you have an account already established with PayPal. You do not need to have a PayPal account in order to purchase our products. Stripe will process your Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express without an account. PayPal also accepts e-check payments. Please keep in mind that if you choose to pay via e-check, your order will not ship out until the payment has cleared (typically about 4-7 days).
What should I do if I'm having trouble with my installation?
Please refer to the instructions that were sent out with your order. If you are still having trouble, feel free to call us at (631) 675-6961 between 9am and 5pm Eastern time, Monday through Fridays, excluding holidays, and we will be happy to help walk you through the installation. If we can't resolve your installation issue over the phone, we'll be happy to perform simple installations at no additional charge.
Are you the original manufacturers?
No, we are not. We aren't associated with, or endorsed by the original manufacturers. Original manufacturers compete with us for your business. We are confident that our custom built turbines will perform just as well as turbines you would buy from the original manufacturers, at a significantly lower cost.
Is there a warranty with my purchase?
All of our premium turbines are warranted against manufacturer defects for a period of 90 days. With proper turbine installation and maintenance, our premium turbines have an average life span of nine to twelve months. Improper maintenance voids the warranty, but complete maintenance instructions are included with every order.
All of our Lube Free turbines are warranted against manufacturer defects for a period of 180 days. With proper turbine installation and maintenance, our Lube Free turbines have an average life span of twelve to eighteen months.
We only use parts from established companies, and we have no problem replacing defective parts, although this rarely happens. Turbines that haven't been maintained properly and come back to us showing signs of improper maintenance, rust, or obvious exposure to higher than recommended air pressure levels. These turbines may not be eligible for warranty.
How long should I expect my turbines to last?
With proper turbine installation and maintenance, our premium turbines have an average life span of nine to twelve months. If your turbines aren't lasting that long, please refer to the recommended air pressure and lubrication guidelines.
What is the correct PSI to run a high speed handpiece?
Most high speed handpieces are designed to run at a 40 PSI
What should I do if I am experiencing early turbine failure?
If you're experiencing early failure of your turbines, please have the air pressure settings at your delivery system checked by a certified technician, review proper lubrication procedures with your staff, and be sure no one ever runs your handpieces without a bur in place, even during lubrication.
What is the correct way to lubricate a high speed handpiece?
The care and maintenance of highspeed handpieces is critical to their performance. The lack of proper lubrication even for a short period of time can cause severe damage to the turbine. We recommend the following maintenance be performed at the end of doctor’s procedure:
- Wipe handpiece with alcohol (use only alcohol, never any other type of disinfectant).
- Lubricate down the air line for one full second, without a bur installed.
- Insert bur into chuck and tighten.
- Run handpiece for approximately one minute, until no lubricant is visible.
- Wipe handpiece with alcohol (use only alcohol, never any other type of disinfectant).
- Insert in autoclave bag (should have paper on at least one side of bag).
- Load in autoclave with cellophane side down in tray.
- Remove from autoclave immediately after cycle and allow to cool.
- Lubricate down the air line for one full second, without bur installed.
- Insert bur into chuck and tighten.
- Run handpiece for approximately one minute, until no lubricant is visible.
- Wipe handpiece with alcohol, it is now ready for use.

We use ceramic lube free bearings in our Lube-Free replacement turbines, so no lubrication is necessary, and will damage the ceramic lube free bearings.

Debit cards: The Handpiece-Turbines.com Online Store uses STRIPE and PayPal. Although most debit cards with a Visa or MasterCard logo on them will work; however, depending on the particular debit card it may not be accepted for a transaction.

Handpiece-Turbines.com products are normally not returnable or refundable. You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a refund (minus shipping charges and 25% restocking fee). Unfortunately, opened or used items are not returnable for refund or exchange. Opened handpieces are not returnable for credit or exchange. If a handpiece is found to be defective upon use, return the product with full explanation in writing, we will forward the product and explanation to the manufacturer for evaluation. All other products are sold "AS IS".
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
Customer is responsible for freight on returns. If an item has to be returned please contact customer service at (631) 675-6961 and ask for an RMA number. Please include a completed Handpiece and Turbine Work Order form with your return.
There is no warranty on products sold "AS IS".

Chargebacks: Inappropriate chargebacks by credit card customers are costly to process and may subject the person making the chargeback to criminal and civil liability. If you wish to return a Handpiece-Turbines.com product, see the Shipping and Returns page to accomplish a return, if qualified. Any unilateral chargebacks will be contested and will be subject to a $75 fee charged to your credit card. By ordering from Handpiece-Turbines.com you agree to these terms and conditions and give Handpiece-Turbines.com the authority to charge your credit card this $75 service fee to cover the cost of processing any chargeback you issue. Any chargeback will result in permanent cancellation of credit card purchasing privileges and cancellation of all warranties and support for that customer. Handpiece-Turbines.com prosecutes all misuse of credit cards to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Other Errors: Payment errors must be resolved within 90 days. When paying by check, please use a delivery method that will assure checks will be delivered promptly and reliably.
